District II Southwest Division Meeting
Meeting called to order at 6:42 p.m. by Susan Doanne
Discussed last meeting minutes, e-mailed to everyone. Minutes approved, Huck 1st, and Wes 2nd, approved as e-mailed and passed.

Treasurer's Report: Anne gave a treas report of $1320.36 in checking and $190.62 in savings and $14.34 discrepancy. Skip and Lissa will do an audit and give a report next meeting.
We will get start-up money from the district account from now on.
Susan had the timers fixed over the phone and took notes incase they need fixed again.
Each club will be responsible for supplying batteries for the timers at their own show.
Walt Fadness memorial wants to use the timers? Skip 1st, Wes 2nd to use the districts timers for this show, passed.
Helena Trail Riders is having a St Jude trail ride, if anyone is interested, please call Peggy B for info or HTR.
Port-a-potty: Dave made a motion for district to buy one used potty for $100.00 and Valley Blues will keep it in Birdseye for use at shows, the club using the potty will be responsible for having it cleaned out at the end of their show. Peggy B 1st, and Wes 2nd and passed.
State:
Spring State meeting?
Susan will organize, so the committee can see arena etc
Do we want to have a banquet?
Yes, Maria will chair committee. Ideas are spaghetti, french bread, and salad and every family in District II brings a dessert. They will come up with a cost
Insurance?
Susan will ask if we can be covered under the rodeo spectator insurance
Dance?
Dave & Marsha can get a sound system and need a DJ
Concession Stand?
Dale is going to do concession he will have breakfast and lunch
Please find any sponsors possible.
What District II has to provide for state:
Indoor stalls $25.00
Outdoor panel pens $20.00
Bringing your own pens $5.00per horse
Camping $10.00
Walk-e-talkies
In & Out Gate person
On-deck caller
6 judges stands(4 for each lane & 2 for starting line)
1,2,3,&4 signs

We should mark the arena the day before
District year-end awards:
We want an awards committee Skip 1st and Wes 2nd.
Wes committee chair and Peggy H, Teresa, Maria, & Dale, & Sissy on committee.
Under 8 - 12-15 get 1st through 6th place awards. Everyone else gets 1st through 4th place awards
District Show:
We will give out ribbons and rosettes for 1st through 6th place - 1st Sissy and 2nd Skip and passed.
Sissy will contact Jaunita Kelly from Valley Blues to order ribbons and split cost of shipping.
Sissy will wait for Susan to tell us when the state meeting is and then schedule the next meeting to discuss what we need to do for the state.
