District II

I didn’t take down attendance

This is our District awards banquet. We met at Karen & Dan McGowan’s garage at 1:00. District supplied the burgers, hot dogs, buns, plates, and napkins.. You need to bring your own chairs, salad, dessert, utensils, and spoons to scoop salads & desserts.

We have $10,871.56 in our checking account.

We discussed giving the state $1000.00 dollars to donate back and that was turned down.
Patsy made a motion to keep the money in our district, Carol 2nd, and passed
Ted Wood Sr & Steve B thought is would be a good idea to put some money into CD’s etc. We will discuss this at a later date.

Then we selected our new officers -

We ate, handed out awards and had a great time


Awards were:
1st blanket
2nd large shelf
3rd small shelf
4th bucket & water carrier
5th horn bag
6th cantle bag

Everyone also got a picture and chose a frame.
Under 8’s got a kid basket donated by Carol.
Shelves made by Wes, Teresa, and Farrah.
Blankets done by Peggy H, Maria N, & Linda W embroidered.
Peggy H & Peggy B did the buckets and water carriers.
Teresa did the pictures and frames.
